Everyone, Project Racer is baaaaaack!! Before the new racing season of 2024, the dev team needs to find some drivers with different levels of experience to help tweak and finalize the driving behavior of the GT3 and TCR categories. The “Pre-2.9 Private Testing” will start on Discord from 29th December, 2023. (Join our Discord channel to register for the private testing.) This private testing will continue with regular updates and improvements until the start of Beta v2.9 Open Testing with major updates in gameplay and content. Dear Racers, We apologize for removing the download link for beta version 2.9 from the official announcement. Our team had set an unrealistic deadline of June 6th to release the beta version, resulting in a rushed and incomplete version with numerous noticeable bugs. Therefore, we have decided to temporarily remove the download link and release it once the team has completed the necessary work. We will no longer set any hard deadline for future beta tests and releases. Nevertheless, ongoing testing will continue with regular small updates and fixes, but only in private mode. If you are interested in trying this unfinished version and providing feedback to help us improve, please join our Discord and apply for the private test, we will invite you to the private test channel for the download. Hello Pilots! Welcome to Project Racer! After so many years since the Beta 2.0, we finally made it to the next stage: Beta 2.9 "Tech Testing" will be started on June 6th (Android Only). In this "Tech Testing", we will focus mainly on the driving/racing parts, menu game-play and monetization will become available after we swiftly fixed important bugs related to driving and performance in the first few days of tech testing. Here is the main updates in Beta 2.9 CONTENT: - New TCR Category Cars - New "Akeno Circuit" with many layouts GRAPHIC: - Significant graphic updates, HD textures and improved lighting effects, bloom and motion blur will be available as well SOUND: Improvements: the annoying and rough "reverb" effect was removed and we will no longer driving in the bath room. - Performance boost: It reaches better performance compare to the legacy Beta 2.0 with similar graphic. HANDLING: - Handling: It keeps the good handling feeling from beta 2.0 and becomes more realistic, the body movement and engine/driveshaft shock are being simulated - Realistic grip: from beta 2.9, the grip and downforce will drop significantly if we are drifting or spin, the downforce will even disappear if we are spining off the track, you will notice that the car will spin for a long distance if you lost control. GAME-PLAY: The game-play part will be updated few days after we fixed the bugs on the "driving aspect" OPTIONS: - Option Menu is available in the pause menu - Customizable Button position - Button Steering is heavily optimized on this version and is racing ready, manual shifting is also available for button steering - More preference setting are available in display and view (check out in the Option menu) UI-HUD: Completely new UI and HUD and "hot switch" buttons, there're 3 HUD style available, select them in the Option Controller Support? Oh no, it is not available yet, but on the game you will soon realize our UI is optimized in a way that will both work for mobile-touch and controller. It's time to say goodbye to Mie International Circuit now, since the track will be removed from next Beta testing and forever. We will host the last event in Mie International Circuit, let's leave our rubber and record in this track that shared a lot of memories during the last years of beta 2 testing! Dear racers and partners, happy new year! We are here to bring you some good news and a bad news in the last day of 2022. Starting with the bad one: The dev team is still working on Beta v3.0 and it is still pretty difficult for us to have any prediction of release date right now. And the good ones: (1) After some huge changes in base structure of the game (which is very painful), we are able to improve the graphics and also maintain very good frame rate (2) As you can see in the image, there are solid progress in many tasks compare to July 2022. It’s going slowly but we guarantee you the game will be ready in 2023. (3) LiveOps, cockpit view, basic controller support and improved physics will be possible in beta v3.0 release. (4) We will try to predict the release date of beta v3.0 in the middle of January if we could complete some very challenging tasks that has no guarantee of success. Happy new year, happy 2023! This image is the car to be used for beta 1.9, which is completely rebuilt from the old car in beta 1(now in trash box). . It is called KZEIT “Marc” GT2, a power limiter will be installed at the beginning of the game and it will be easier to drive, once you unlock the first few levels you will be able to roar the beast with FULL POWER unlocked. . In P:RACER, this category is called GT2 and it’s second or third fastest category in the game, which should have similar capacity and purpose to the real-life GTE or GT3 category, the top speed would vary from settings and tracks but in most of the cases it will hit around 270-280 KPH. . Sorry guys, we are back! [WHY THE **** STOPPED POSTING ?] First of all, we gotta say a big sorry for not updating, because since March we decided to take the risk and work on some fundamental improvements to push the game quality(mainly on graphics)to the next level, luckily we made it working after months of developing but we are behind the original plan. .
